“When angels fly the sun smiles”. This German saying once again proved to be true when students from Salem’s middle school went for a long walk to the Salem Schlosssee ( a lake in the close area) with 20 residents from the retirement- and care home Wespach.

On March 19th 2009, 2 classes of year 8 und 4 classes of year 9 at Salem took part in the Kangaroo-Competition of Mathematics. Three students won the third price of their year, two students recieved special awards.
599 students from Baden-Württemberg took part in the History Competition of the Federal Pesident and submitted a total of 142 articles. Jan Engelhardt from Jonas Rosenbrück from Schule Schloss Salem are two of the prize winners.
