No matter if travelling by car, by train or by an aeroplane - finding the Salem locations is quite easy.
From the east (from Ulm or Munich via Friedrichshafen):
On B31 up to exit Uhldingen-Mühlhofen. Follow the road about 8 km north, through Mühlhofen and Salem-Mimmenhausen. Head for Salem-Stefansfeld. At the roundabout turn left. The castle is on your left after 700 m. Continue to the school‘s parking lot on the right hand side just before the next cross section. Use the entrance "Stockacher Tor” closest to the parking lot via the pedestrian tunnel , to enter the school premises.
From the west (from Stuttgart or Switzerland via A81):
At motorway cross section Hegau go on A98 (soon becoming B31) heading for Lindau. Drive on B31 up to Überlingen-Andelshofen. From there to Tüfingen. After about 4 km you see the castle on your right. Continue to the school‘s parking lot just after the cross section on the left hand side. Please enter castle through "Stockacker Tor”, via the pedestrian tunnel.
By train or plane:
The railway station Salem Mimmenhausen is on the line Lindau – Friedrichshafen – Radolfszell line. The castle is at a 3 km distance from the station. The international airports Zurich and Stuttgart are at a driving or railway distance of about 1 and 2 hours respectively. The airport Friedrichshafen offers connections to all big German airports as well as direct connections abroad.
